Yes! I shoot both film and digital, often at the same event though I have film-only packages available as well. Film costs more on my end, but I price it the same as digital because I love shooting film. I love playing with different cameras during my events and delivering a diverse gallery filled with digital, 35mm, and medium format images.
I promise you will receive at least 40 - 50 images per hour—but usually more! The exact number delivered depends on the number of guests, the energy of the event, and how much activity is happening but I have not yet had any complaints about the number of photos delivered.
I'm NYC-based part of the year; south-east asia and San Francisco-based at other times. I'm open to travel.
I will sometimes nudge you in a particular direction but I'm, for the most part, a documentary-style photographer: I observe rather than choreograph. Alas, models get paid well for a reason: posing is a craft, not a side-effect of being photographed. What I can do is capture the most beautiful, candid moments of you that I see. If what you're after is a carefully directed, posed aesthetic, you'll want an editorial-style photographer!
For the best availability, I recommend booking at least a few months in advance, especially for peak season events. I am just one person, and I do try to limit the amount of work I accept per month to be at a manageable level and have *some* semblance of a personal life. That said, you can always try your luck for a more last-minute event. Shoot me a message!

Pricing depends on factors like the length of your event, how quickly you want your photos, and the deliverables requested. Beyond the time spent shooting, I invest hours in carefully selecting the best images - removing blinks, unflattering angles, and duplicates...maybe even photoshopping out the pit stains that made it into an otherwise perfect moment so they never see the light of day...Each photo is then touched up for color, lighting, and composition to ensure a cohesive look. Finally, I create a beautifully curated gallery that tells the full story of your event, making it easy to relive and share. The result is a tasteful collection of images you'll cherish forever.
